Turtle Trails

We went for a walk in the park yesterday and got reacquainted with the turtles that live in the lake under the boardwalk and saw a twig that turned out to be a caterpillar and watched the reflection of the water in the trees.

The end.

    1. Me too! I know, we're so lucky to live surrounded by so many parks. There's even one within a 45-minute drive where we can hand-feed the birds. I've never been there with Silkworm but it's on our list of places to go!

  2. Oh my gosh! I love that you can just go visit turtles whenever you want. Every July, my dad hosts this event through the public library's summer reading program called the Turtle Race. People bring their turtles and we have ten "heat" races and then a final round. Everyone gets ribbons and toys and the press comes out and it's really fun!

    1. No way, that sounds so cute! Once upon a time, I heard Petco had some kind of small rodent race where they'd let people bring their hamsters, rats, etc. in hamster balls and put them on a specially-made track. Anywho, I'm super thankful to have had the chance to live where I live. ^-^ Surrounded by beaches, lakes, harmless wildlife...I do wish to see the mountains someday, though!

Silkworm and I love hearing what other people think. In fact, it's probably our favorite thing, so don't be shy to leave us a note or ask a question!
