Raising Sensitive Plants: Take 2, Day 78

Silkworm and I have realized a flaw in our documentation of Plucky's growth. We hadn't been keeping a calendar to track how old he was in days, so April and May's day numbers are off by one day (i.e. Day 30 is really Day 31). We've since figured it out, though, and we have a calendar to help us keep track, now.

While we're writing about our little guy, here's a photo from yesterday morning before he woke up. Today is Day 79, but we titled the post Day 78 since the photo is from yesterday.

Isn't he so cute when he's sleeping! He's been growing so fast, I swear it's as if he gets a new set of leaves overnight every night. The tiny leaves aren't sensitive to being touched with anything but water as far as we know, but the bigger ones can be sent to sleep with the brush of a finger. Even the stems collapse sometimes! We're excited to see him flourish, but for now, we're gushing over his tininess.

  1. I can't believe how much Plucky's grown! I still remember when he was just a little seed. . . . :,) (lol)

    1. I know! It's crazy to think it wasn't even three months ago! We're so proud of him. They grow up so fast!

  2. He's so beautiful! I love how you named him. So special. :)

  3. I've raised these plants before, they are SO amazing!

Silkworm and I love hearing what other people think. In fact, it's probably our favorite thing, so don't be shy to leave us a note or ask a question!
